MICHELE YUE is a Chinese-born American multidisciplinary artist, musician, and creative guide based in New York City.

Originally from Houston, TX, Michele came of age in the city’s underground DIY music scene, where intimacy, experimentation, and self-expression deeply shaped her artistic identity. While working full-time as a paralegal, she played keys and sang in various bands and launched her jewelry brand SHOPNONHUMAN (2012–2018), which was featured in the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston's Texas Design Now exhibition in 2015. She has since lived in Portland and Paris before landing in New York City in 2018, where she expanded into DJing, modeling, and deeper creative practices.

Michele’s music is dreamy, soft, and emotional—threaded with minimalism, textural sound design, and samples from the overlooked poetry of everyday life. Her compositions often feel like melodic rituals, transforming raw feeling into structured sonic space.

In 2024, she co-founded Love Letter NYC in LES with Sutian Dong—a community space for structured, cathartic, and sensory experiences rooted in writing and ritual. Love Letter offers immersive moments of emotional clarity and transformation, designed to reconnect people to themselves and to one another through intentional expression.
